The Queen turns 90 this week and it’s fair to say she’s packed a lot into her life so far, racking up thousands of air miles during her time as monarch.
Out of 196 countries in the world, Her Majesty has been on official state visits to 120, covering most of the surface of the planet.
But there’s one glaring omission in her travel diary, and it’s very close to home – in more ways than one.
The Queen has never visited Greece. And while this might seem odd purely on the basis that it’s a favourite for British holidaymakers, it’s made more strange by the fact that it’s where her husband was born.
