With just 2 weeks to go, NEPOMAK UK, along with the community’s support, is in a race to reach a £1,000 target in order to create and transport Santa Shoeboxes to underprivileged children in Cyprus just in time for Christmas.
What is a Santa Shoebox?
The Santa Shoebox campaign is an initiative of NEPOMAK UK. It is something small you can create with friends, family or work collegues to put a big smile on the face of a disadvantaged child in Cyprus. It is essentially a Christmas wrapped shoebox filled with toys, creative items, toiletries, and clothing that you can spare.
Following the success of last years shoebox campaign, NEPOMAK UK are now taking part in their third year running the charity event. Having seen the photographs for ourselves, we know how your donations and your own-made shoeboxes made a huge difference to children.
What can you do to help?
If you would like to get involved you can either make a donation through the Just Giving Page, in which all donations go towards the creation and transportation of these boxes to Cyprus, or alternatively by creating your own Santa Shoebox using the guidelines provided. Once created, you will be required to bring your specially made shoebox to The Greek Cypriot Brotherhood (Britannia Road, London, N12 9RU) on Saturday 24th November where NEPOMAK UK members and volunteers will be.
Please help NEPOMAK UK in spreading some Christmas cheer by making a Santa Shoebox or a donation, or simply share our page with your friends and family to spread the word.
