Raging about Achilles

Set against the backdrop of the Trojan Wars, the Iliad is the first, and arguably the greatest, work of western literature. In dramatic readings from different translations, and offering an account of a personal love affair with Classics, Raging about Achilles aims to bring fresh perspective to the classical text and explore its enduring influence.

An event in English with Paul O’Mahony.

Paul is an actor, writer, producer and director.  He translated and adapted three Greek tragedies to make The House of Atreus (performed at the Barbican) and he has also written a full-length musical inspired by Greek mythology.
