International Poetry Competition 2016

Part of the London Greek Film Festival 2016 (15-21 May 2016)

Poems accepted in Greek and/or English language, from: Greek Origin Poets from all over the world, with no specific subject in their poems (Greek Diaspora & Greek-Cypriots included), or Non Greek Origin Poets from all over the world,with poems related to Greece (i.e. subject, myths, history, locations, philosophy, modern life, literature, theatre, science).

  • Poems must be no more than 150 words and can be in any style.
  • Each poem must have a title.
  • You may enter up to three (3) poems.
  • No alterations can be made once a poem has been submitted.
  • Once entered, poems cannot be withdrawn.
  • Please ensure that you have all of the poems you are entering in a single word .doc file ready to upload.
  • Entries must be the original work of the entrant.
  • Entries will only be accepted when accompanied by the entry form and the payment of the submission fee.
  • All entrants must be 18 years of age or over when they submit their entry to the competition.
  • Entries must be submitted by the author and not on someone else’s behalf.
  • Entries must be original works by one individual author (not a group, company or organization).
  • Entries must be unpublished works.
