Hotel staff faked a jihadi-style gun attack just two days after a mass shooting killed 45 people at Istanbul airport.
Terrified tourists were the victims of a prank by entertainment workers wearing dark clothes who burst into a restaurant in Cyprus firing fake guns.
They were trying to imitate gangsters to promote a new casino at the First Choice Holiday Village Aliathon in Paphos.
The heedless hoax took place two days after last week’s terror attacks in Turkey and four days after the first anniversary of the Tunisian beach massacre in which 38 were slaughtered.
