Greek mezzo-soprano Eleni Katerini and Alexandre Naoumenko, Russian coach at the Royal Opera House-Covent Garden return to St. Mary’s for a very special recital inspired by R. Schumann’s song cycle “Frauenliebe und Leben”( A Woman’s Love and Life).
Songs of Love, Life and Loss by various composers will be performed during part one. In part two Schumann’s song cycle comes to life in a theatrical version which includes creative movement by New Zealand dancer Anna Rachael McBride.
