Directed by Manousos Manousakis, the film narrates the love story of a Jewish woman and a Christian man in Thessaloniki in 1942 during the German occupation. The story unfolds around an ouzeri, where Vasilis Tsitsanis, one of the most prominent composers of rebetiko, performs. The film is based on the book Ouzeri Tsitsanis by George Skabardonis.

Film ticket holders can attend a live music recital dedicated to Vassilis Tsitsanis, by the group Plastic Chairs, which will take place at 4.30pm, in between screenings.
