Elena Hadjiafxendi is an internationally known Greek-Cypriot actress and singer who lives and works between Cyprus, Greece and UK. Elena represents a new generation of performers of the music of European composers like Kurt Weill, Felipe Salvador, Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Nino Rota and others. She graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre of Thessaloniki, and studied classical singing. Also, Elena has an MA in Theatre and Education from the University of Athens and Bachelor of Education from Aristotle University. Elena has performed in many European countries, ranging from Cyprus, Albania and Greece to France, Italy and Britain. Her repertoire varies from classical/musical theatre, film and television, to opera and sound poetry shows.
Andreas Papapetrou is a composer, performer and music teacher. He holds a PhD in Music Composition and is a classically trained pianist and accordionist. His compositional output includes works for various ensembles in different genres, ranging from solo to full symphonic orchestra works, as well as works of electro-acoustic and electronic music, and works for theatre, film and dance.
