In this talk, the speakers will address the issues that are related to the core of the Greek state with respect to its political economy, society and geopolitical position. More specifically, these issues are the features of the post-memorandum Greek growth model and welfare state, as well as the country’s position in an ever more integrated Eurozone and European Union.

Mr. Adonis Georgiadis will be joined by a speaker who will be announced soon.

Speakers’ Bios:

Mr. Adonis Georgiadis is a Member of the Hellenic Parliament and Vice President of New Democracy, the main opposition party of the Hellenic Parliament.

Mr. Georgiadis was a major negotiator for the Greek cabinet in discussions that took place with the troika (IMF, EU Commission, ECB) during the Samaras period of government (2012-14).
