A day with Paul Klee: Taking a line for a walk

Thanasis Gavos   Sunday, 12 November 2017; 12:00-1:30pm

An event for children (and parents) by Nannuka UK.

Nannuka’s Events are full of happy children! Our inspiration is their creativity.

There is always more to a painting when drawing with children and encouraging them to draw is very important.

Painting with young children allows us to see much more than a simple picture. If we observe with careful eyes and ears, we can gain tremendous information about each child. We can create enjoyable experiences and support development at the same time!

At this session, we get inspired by the famous artist Paul Klee, his quote
“A line is a dot that went for a walk”, and get all creative and artistic!

A day with Paul Klee: Taking a line for a walk.

Together we will use shapes to create images, recognize real colors and learn together lots of Paul Klee’s drawing techniques! With pencils and colors we will create, draw and model!

Why Paul Klee

Paul Klee was a poet-musician and artist whose highly individual style was influenced by movements in the art such as Expressionism and Surrealism. He was a natural draftsman who experimented with and eventually deeply explored color theory! His works reflect his humor and his sometimes childlike perspective and his musicality!
